Here lately, I've come to discover, it doesn't matter whether I get married or not. It doesn't even matter if I stay single. Thing is, I may or may not be ready for it. What's important is being content with what you have.

Christmas This Year?

So, it looks like we're going to miss church again this week. If my family is not well by Christmas, this might be a pretty sucky Christmas. My dad refuses to go to a doctor, even though he should, and my mom ought to try to go to one on Monday. They make me go, so why can't they go? They both should've already been, but I know dad won't go, and mom... well... *sigh* The one day our store closes, and it might not go too well. I may be doing my own thing. I hate sounding like this but it's pretty depressing if everyone is sick.

So Apparently On Some Forums, One Is Not Allowed an Opionion

I had originally joined a Harry Potter forum just because I was interested in roleplaying Harry Potter or at least talking about it. I got on there, and first off, I read one of my replies on a topic about Luna and Harry having a relationship instead of Harry and Ginny. I thought Harry and Luna had more in common than Harry and Ginny. Apparently though, because I'm not such a nerd to dig up facts from the book, my opinion is invalid and wrong. I'm sorry, but since when is a thread about opinions fact based? If it needed to be fact based and not based on your own thoughts, it should say something to the effect of Factual Opinions on Harry and Luna. Sorry, but being a long time member of a Bleach fan forum, I was kind of put off by it. Some Harry Potter fans are just annoying. I mean, I could understand if I was commenting on a chapter in a book, or a scene from a movie, but I wasn't. I shouldn't have to write a thesis every time I give my opinion.

I Could Lose My Job

Well, so I had just rang up one half of my last customer's order. She said she wanted to pay $50 in cash and the rest on EBT. I put in the $50, but then she changed her mind and said she wanted to try to pay it all on EBT, but I had already put in $50 in cash so I had to start all over. I had to re-enter everything and it took me at least 20 minutes. I thought I had it all entered, but I thought the total still looked wrong, so I'd have to spend 20 more minutes trying to figure out what went wrong and re-enter everything. I would've been at least 40 minutes late getting off, and first off, they don't like you to have over time, and second, I thought the girl that took over for me could help me out and re do it herself, so I said, "I'm sorry, she's going to take over, and she'll have to re ring it." She gave me an attitude, and I just left. Yep, maybe I should've stayed, and yep, maybe I should've tried to fix it, but I really didn't want to stay another hour trying to fix it. So, yeah, I could just get written up for it, or I could get fired for it. I'm not even going to say I wasn't wrong. But yeah, if you see a post before too long that says something like, "Lost My Job" don't be surprised.

A Birthday Surprise for Me

So, I had in mind that it might be nice to go to this restaurant called The Aquarium because they actually have a huge aquarium inside, but I never expected I'd be going because I thought it was just too expensive. My parents surprised me and brought me there anyway! OMG that was amazing! I enjoyed it immensely and the clams I tried were great! lol I loved it so much I applied for a job there. Anyways, had a good time, and I really enjoyed the birthday wishes.
