last thursday all the high school was taken to an aquatic park. I didn't really feel like going, but I had already missed last trip so I went to this one. Soon after arriving I started feeling a bit sick.. because it felt somewhat like a flu I thought it'd be some kind of allergy (which kinda surprised me cuz I haven't found any yet), and just spent all day sitting there, eating, chatting, and overall a bit bored and hot because man it was HOT and I couldn't swim because of feeling bad.
then some nice friends of mine dragged me all over the place and threw me in a pool, with all my clothing on and no changes nor towel nearby. Meh. I kinda got angry at them, but gotta say it was a bit fun. Problem is, I didn't have a new allergy. Not at all. I was starting to get sick, really sick.
After this, we got back to school, where everyone would get picked up or go home on their own. A friend of mine stayed with me so we would go together to my home, eat and play kingdom hearts (yep I owe her my life for this, she's the one who lent her ps2 and kh game to me, it's her favorite game series and likes to see my progress on it...on the other side, she's one of the people who dragged me to the pool >:/ ).
while I was playing, I started feeling worse minute by minute. My throat started aching, my voice changing and my nose..well you know the story. It was kinda weird to see how my sickness was growing, even more with my friend at my side watching it.

what else can I say, all the weekend has been nothing but fever, napkin wasting and feeling like doing nothing at all. I missed school at friday and therefore missed reviews in almost every class, with the exam week starting tomorrow. Great :/ . Right now, while I'm typing this, I'm still sick, but finally feeling a bit better and ready for tomorrow's exam: Biology.

Yesterday, Norbert hurricane was about to strike at our city. All the local news were talking about was Norbert, what kind of preparations were being made for it and the recommendations for any emergency situation. Civil protection declared red alert, imminent danger. Refuges started filling with people and stores sold out all of their water, medicine, batteries and food supplies.
Streets were empty, families were praying, volunteers working at the refuges, and myself worried about all of this and helping get my home ready.
Notice came to town that other southern towns were already being struck. Norbert was coming for us.
And just before striking us, it changed course.

so..
another week or two being heck busy, working on the dragon poster for art class and almost that's it for now. I'm still sick, but not as I was on Friday or Saturday, and hopefully I'll be a bit better tomorrow.

Thank God that Norbert didn't strike town. However, we keep praying for those cities at south of us, for their people, I hope they didn't get as affected as they got with Lowell and that they can continue their lives soon.
