Tanner Cobb, the defendant walked into Gladstone shoes with his sister Yaley, and brother Webster Cobb. The Siblings had it all planned out, Webster was to distract Jenna Boller, one of the workers, and Yaley was to distract Murray Castlebaum another worker. Yaley said that she was starting to feel sick and that she needed to some water. Jenna Boller started into the backroom to get it for her. As she entered the room she heard her co-worker Murray yell “come back with those” the defendant just kept running. As Yaley tried to leave with Webster Murray made them stay since they were witnesses to as crime. The boy Webster was reading a book, being only four Jenna was surprised that he knew how to read. When Jenna asked him who had taught him to read he replied Tanner did. At that time Yaley Yelled for Webster to shut up. That’s when Jenna became suspicious. Jenna then asked Webster if Tanner had been in the store with them, his reply was yes. At that time Yale’s phone rang, it was Tanner Cobb asking were the two were. Yaley told him that they were caught and to bring the shoes back. Tanner did as he was told. Mrs. Gladstone the manager called the kids guardian, and learned that Tanner had a Criminal record. Instead of pressing charges against Tanner Cobb, Mrs. Gladstone would like to have Tanner work in her store without pay, as long as he’s needed.

The book "My Own Worst Enemy" made me wish that...I knew this girl character, realize that...you dont always have to be perfect, deciede that... i need to change some of the things i do, wonder about.. whether or not everyone wants to be just like everyone else, see that...no nt everyone wants to be like everyone else, believe that... everyone trys to be the same, feel that... we need to try and not want to be the same, and hope that one day we will all realize that its ok to be ourselves, and love who we are.
