It's weird how after a while you come back and read past postings, reminding you of how much has changed since creating this account. This website was a gateway into the beginnings of me coming into my own, this becoming a way to express myself in ways that weren't possible without raising a little bit of hell back home. It allowed me to venture down a path that brought love into my life truly for the first time, which in turn made me learn from my mistakes and grow as a person. Those of you who were apart of that know who you are and I'm thankful to have had you in my life, as well as the few who continue to be there.

Things have changed over the course of the past few months for the better. Searching for a more dependable mode of transportation has proven to be quite the daunting task. However, this coming Monday will hopefully be the day that I can drive home in a new Ford Edge. :-) Tons of room for my finds from junking/antiquing. Doing very well with that business and it seems to be growing day by day with many return customers and word of mouth. Like my Facebook page "Mikey's Antiques" to see what I'm doing with it!

It will be another year before my spouse gets out of the military and we are able to move permanently to St. Augustine. It's exciting to think about because the area is steeped in history and it's absolutely beautiful there. Anyways, I hope to start posting every now and then when I get bored or feel the need to.
