Game content provider Boom Games announced on April 24, 2023 that it could further increase its European presence by obtaining a license from the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA).
The company can now provide content to licensed Swedish game operators. As a result, Swedish players will still have access to titles like Roadfather MegawayTM, Cash Pig, Buffalo Hold & Win, TNT Bonanza.
This comes after SGA mandated that all online casino game providers obtain licenses before July 23, 2023. The new licensing policy is aimed at ensuring the welfare of players and the integrity of the Swedish gaming industry.
Frederik Niehusen, CCO of Booming Games, said: "We are thrilled to have acquired a Swedish B2B gaming license that will expand our presence in the fast-growing Swedish market.
