I've been sleeping in way, way too much these days. Staying up too late, knowing there's nothing for which I specifically need to wake up . . . leads me to wake up far too late past noon. I'm not feeling proud about that, parents are starting to get really concerned about that . . . not so fun in the long run, feels like.
I need a free bagel thing in the mornings, maybe . . .
Actually, this is plenty-fitting considering my recent discovery of the joys that is "Hard Candy". Probably you'll either get what this movie's really about or you won't . . . but it's just awesome. Come see trailer if you've got a couple minutes to kill:

Other than that, mostly uneventful day. Played some GTA, lectured some caption-writers . . . y'know, same ol'.

Scott also happened to link to like, a million different links to different stuff on his news page, especially a lot of video links. And, seeing as we can only show off one YouTube per post, I had to decide which one got the embed and which just got the link.
It was down to either Caramelldansen on piano, or some silly Mario Bros. song . . .
Brother went DVD shopping the other day, grabbed "The Golden Compass" for me. For what it was, I quite enjoyed it; ending was kinda blah, but ah well. Still, it's a shame that they'll probably never make the others.
Yesterday, I lucked out and got a phone call from Superstore people telling me to come out for "Iron Man". That's great, 'cause otherwise it could have taken a very long time for me to see this movie. So I saw that yesterday.
And yes, I pretty much crapped my pants at how practically perfect it was. Heh, while we sat through the credits, a theater guy was cleaning up and says to us, "are you guys waiting for something at the end?"
"Yes," we answer.
"You know there isn't anything," he says. "I've seen it, there isn't anything..."
"Yes, there is," I said back, flatly,
"No, there isn't," he says back.
"Yes there is..." I say one more time.
"...No, there isn't... alright I'm just messin' with you guys..." What a guy, huh? Anyway, very glad I stayed; jumped out of my seat and everythin' at that ending bit.
So let's see, what else is coming up this month . . . Narnia, Indy 4, Batman is either this month or next month . . . what else is there? I just know for a fact that a buttload of what should be really good movies are on their way out . . .
