Happy News, Scary As Balls News . . .

Remember that Stephen guy whose wedding I like to take credit for saving?

Had his first child on Thursday morning. Big baby too. Right after work, I rushed out, bought some flowers on behalf of my mom, and then bought a plush cow puppet along the way (born in 2009, year of the ox and whatnot). Arrived at the hospital room at about 3pm, ended up staying for like three hours . . . so yeah. Baby. That was pretty cool. So congratulations, Stephen and Maria!

Then on FRIDAY . . . . . I saw Paranormal Activity with Alexa and Stupid Ed and Alexa's friend whose gone to cons with us this past year.

Good movie. Great movie, actually, and I could wholeheartedly recommend it especially on grounds that it is actually creepy as all hell and quite scary as balls at points. Really well done for . . . what budget was it, $11,000? Man . . . that's awesome . . .

. . . what was LESS awesome, though . . .

. . . I slept all through the night which was nice. Then at the very, very end of my dreaming time, I started - and get this - dreaming about thinking about the movie. Like I was at my computer, in chat, talking about Paranormal Activity. Mostly it was just Allamorph going "oh yeah, how was it?" (I'm guessing just because we had an exchange re: Ed in chat that night [also funny]).

Anyway, started waking up, thought I heard noises, heard someone whisper my name, I thought maybe it was Ed . . . but in any case, my eyes were open and seeing my room, and when I heard my name in my head, I had a massive shiver go through my body . . . aaaaaand, my body wouldn't move. Just kinda shook my head back and forth a bit trying to look over my covers. Eventually I started moving again, but damn, that was effed up.

Dreams? Sleep paralysis? Probably, most likely . . . but it was still scary as fuck. It was cool, though.

Anyway, that was Friday.
