Only in Canada can a man like this be hailed as an athletic hero worthy of people rushing up for autographs:
Team Kevin Martin of Canada took the gold in Men's Curling, edging out the Finns and their crazy pants at the end of regulation. It was a good game.
Also, the curling world will forever remember that Vancouver 2010 was probably the most psychotically enthusiastic curling crowd in the history of the Olympic Games. Fun times.
So yeah. Apparently we're tied for most golds won by a hosting nation with 13. That's not bad at all. And if we can win the men's hockey game, we'll be breaking a helluva record.
If, anyway.
See ya guys at 12:15 Pacific! Best of luck to all!
