Why does everyone want Soul Silver instead of Heart Gold? Silver sold out right away at work, and people coming in have been asking for it. I asked one kid and he said it was because his friend was getting gold; another guy said it was because he had silver back in the day. It has to be something more, though, like a specific super pokemon or something.
If anyone knows, I'd love to hear it.
Beyond that, I've been quiet lately. Lots of good reasons, too:
- First and foremost, cosplay. Half a month to go and I have . . . most of the pants done. I'm very much screwed. Damn you Welkin, why must you be so complicated?!
- Secondly, cold. Had a sore throat on Thursday, went "damnit, I don't have time for this!" and then by the next week it had gone full-blown coughing and yellow phlegm and congestion and bleeding. Pretty much everything that can happen to a nose happened to my nose. Fun. Not.
- Tertiarily (and I'm pretty sure that's a real word) . . . God of War 3. There's some fun violence in that bad boy.
Still need to get the Sakura-Con meet-up planning done, too . . . gurgh . . . usually never leave it this late . . . well, maybe I can get that up and running tomorrow or so. I think I see a good window of time for a meet, but I just have to double-check with folks and go from there.
Also, been fretting just a little about black-ops mod-type stuff here. Y'know, constantly watching people, concerned of cover-ups and stuff, worried about whom they affect and how that would affect this whole investigation . . . fun times, y'know? And yeah, I know, I even blog about it . . . alright, it's not quite black-ops. But still.
So yeah. That's where I've been. I kinda wanna peg this with FML, but the storyline doesn't lead to it well. So we'll say it's an honourable mention.
