After having it sitting in the house for almost a month, I finally opened up my Final Fantasy XIII and started playing.
Story could end well. There's promise. Definitely feels like everything's running on autopilot a little more than I'd prefer, and yet it's not so easy that you won't die if you aren't paying attention. Really, I blame the 5-star battle system that grades you based on how quickly you finish your battles (with alleged rewards of better drops). I guess it's one way to keep you focused.
Also, I hate that I'm totally getting a kick out of Vanille. I know that's exactly why she's in there and I feel a little guilty for falling for her/it. That's a shame.
Anyway, yeah, so far so good. Let's see how it plays out for the next couple months, I guess.
Also, I feel like I could smell something burning in the apartment tonight. Couldn't tell where it was coming from. Pretty sure it wasn't from my suite.
I can't afford to have things burning down. It better have been from outside . . .
