Finally watched Avatar front to back . . .

Yeah, story went exactly the way I figured it would. Pretty, though. Not particularly original, but enjoyable.

Also, there's a dude over at 100things who totally up-voted all his own learnings. That's amusing and sad all at once. Don't have proof, but when a dude makes a movie list, puts in 40 learnings and before there's even a movie poster of the movie up, he has one vote for every single post? Shame, shame . . .

In other news, Ichigo the podcaster totally e-mailed me pr0n of Yoko from Gurren Lagann getting it on with Piccolo fom Dragonball Z. I don't read Japanese, so my guess is that she's sad because Kamina bought it, and then suddenly runs into Piccolo who explains the Dragonballs and their power to bring people back to life, and that he'll help her collect/use them for the obligatory sex-type price. So she reluctantly agrees, lies back and thinks of England . . . and the next morning we find that she's killed him with her sex-type whatevers, and as such the balls are inert. Irony. Such was my illiterate understanding, anyway.

Goddamnit, Japan, the hell's wrong with you? Also, this has probably irrevocably changed the dynamic between Ichigo and myself; once friends send other friends H-doujin, things can never go back to the way things were. A shame.

Whatever.

So what else is new on my end . . . convention/cosplay wise, I'm apparently caught trying to coordinate a Valkyria Chronicles photoshoot with potentially a dozen busy adults all with lives and schedules. And this needs to be done before mid-June. Goddamnit. I'm the one without Facebook, how the hell did I get stuck with the coordinating job?!

Also, last month I volunteered to help coordinate the Masquerade Ball at Anime Evolution. This is probably gonna be a gong show. Should be fun; could be good experience. Also, I'm definitely going to try to hit up PAX in September. Let's face it, I'm a gamer more than I am an anime otaku - PAX is just the right fit for me, y'know? Need to check this out . . .

Other than that . . .

. . . brother got engaged. This is exciting. Gotta meet up with that guy today to discuss like-related subjects. Fun times.

I think that covers it. Beyond that, Vancouver is already beginning to get hot and bothery. I've forgotten what summers can feel like without either a cold basement or an air-conditioned house. Also fun times.

No wait, that last part was a lie.
