Two gaming things and a something else

Gaming thing #1:

My new Rock Band drum pedal arrived today! So let's see, I made the initial call during the afternoon of May 24th . . . which means it took about 11-12 days to process and arrive. It's within two weeks, so hey, I'm fine with that. So job well done, EA. Thus far, your warranty system kicks ass.

Although you thought my name was "Jay" when we spoke on the phone. Oh silly, silly EA . . . and yes, I shall mail you back my broken pedal now so you can give me back my $30 credit card charge.

Gaming Thing #2:

So everyone's more or less familiar with Jack Thompson? He's that Florida lawyer who's taken on a personal crusade against video games and is pretty much the most ridiculous, most outrageous, most unprofessional guy in the history of ever.

The most recent news was that he had a court date for a disbarment hearing . . . and well, that hearing happened earlier this week on Wednesday . . .

. . . and the guy walked out on it. He walked out on his own hearing.

Soooooo yeah. He's pretty much done. And, I don't think we're gonna miss him.

Something Else Point:

Wrote up my thing about the Vancouver Art Gallery. Adam chimed in with his 2 cents. That's about it.
