Cosplay and New Tech . . .

Flynn Rider cosplay progress photo as follows:

Pants: DONE.
Boots: Ordered.
Hair: Growing.

Also, I made a few random period-esque pouches with the leftover pants fabric. 'Punzie needed something to put her money and effects, so I made one for her as well (though I'm of the understanding I'll be carrying it for her anyway). Those are also in the picture above.

Further, of interest, the pants were made possible by that beautiful little Singer sewing machine also in the picture. $135 at Walmart, "Handpicked by Martha" no less. So yeah. I has sewing machine.

Finally, also of interest in the photo: Rock Band Keyboard!!! That thing is seriously more fun than it should be. I'm liking it! Normal keys (where you have 5-button note highway) is pretty easy, but pro keys (where you have actual keyboard highways) is seriously challenging - funny enough, despite the actual ratings on the songs, I find that the true difficulty of playing pro keys is the same as playing actual piano: comes down to what key the song is in.

So yeah. I'm committed. And this is good.

Finally, I am thoroughly amused that in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi's love interest is a Mandalorian dutchess named "Satine". Ahh, meta references . . .
