I've just spent a couple hours telling Stupid Ed about Mary-Sue characters in fanfiction, and trying to explain why it's not an encouraged thing. He feels there shouldn't be such a big stink about it, and people are getting way too upset about something trivial.
I don't even write fanfic! How the hell did I get into this? I'm drifting into "shipping" territory now! Ack!

In other news, I received an Amazon order my brother made for a "used movie".
It was Goldwing.
I practically crapped myself. I've posted about it once before, about how it was my first anime (technically a Korean anime knockoff, but who's counting?) and how all information about it has basically fallen off the face of the earth.
Well, we have an old VHS of it now, and hopefully it hasn't degraded too much these long years past. Hopefully I can turn it digital for future posterity . . . wish me luck on that!
Which brings up another point . . . I need to write an article about it . . .
So that was Monday.
And I'm working on planning for Sakura-con, guys, I promise! Hopefully we can get a "Convention" world set up sooner than later - 'cause we're running out of time!
