Hahhhh . . . yo. What's up?
Still alive, been very lazy around these parts, I know. Really need to get back on top of that before someone shitcans me, hey?
Anyway, work got progressively sucky and I need to think more about what sort of job I can actually find with the level of schooling and training I actually have, and that sucks. But I really need to get a move on with that one.
Cons have been good. Sakura-Con was wonderful, Fan Expo was wonderful (shook hands with both Sean Astin AND Brentalfloss), and now we're gearing up for the summer run. Looks like Anime Evolution this month, Cos & Effect in August, and then Penny Arcade Expo during the Labour Day weekend.
Upcoming cosplays SHOULD be . . . Joseph Joestar from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and maybe even Locke Cole from Final Fantasy VI (this one's been on my list probably since I started cosplaying more than just bakumatsu samurai). As for pre-made things, I imagine Prince Diamond from Sailor Moon will work well for any Masquerade Balls I end up running this summer, and I'm one of the few people still not regretting making Sword Art Online cosplay and will keep wearing that.
Come to think of it, I never shared any pictures from Seattle, did I? Let's see . . .
Our Sailor Moon group (plus a couple outers we found along the way):
Our Sword Art Online group (plus a couple extra folk), ganked from Laura's albums:
And then of course this happened at some point, because I like to climb on shit:
Other than that . . . I guess for sake of posterity, I may as well jot this down here now. If any of y'alls recall what is probably now a 12 year story that I have somewhat mentioned here and there . . . book's closed. Probably for good now, no more scribbling in the margins. Kinda sucks.
And now I must get back to reading Jojo . . . because Jojo.
