Yeah, My Brain's Fried . . .

Notice how the newest updates say the Official World has updated twice and my own blog has updated twice but both only have one new update?

Yeah . . . I had issues tonight with posting. Hehe . . . Posting the podcast, accidentally posted it to my blog instead of the official World. Damn. Copied that into an Official World guest post, posted, deleted the accidental blog post. Then I realised that in accidentally putting it here instead of the official world ate the "embed" code, I had to re-modify the official post to add the code. Except instead of "modify" I just clicked back and did it there - so in other words, I made two podcast posts. D'oh. So the first post got deleted, and now we're finally back in working order.

Totally acceptable body/mind lock-up, I assure you.

SATURDAY:

Headed out to Chinatown for one more lion dance (this is, of course, the day after that big Olympics opening ceremony thing we did on Friday). Was alright, was simple, was easy . . . just went on for way too long. So my back was dead (I was the tail again), the lion head guy was exhausted and a bit pissed because some of the other lions (from another club) kept smashing into him as we walked down the street.

On the plus side, while at this event, we were able to get some free Nestea in exchange for pictures with the Nestea girls:

I think that was a fair trade.

After lion dances, I went out for dinner with Stupid Ed and hung with him the rest of the night. We did all-you-can-eat sushi, got the expensive menu even so we could get tons of sashimi and fresh oysters and stuff . . . talked about careers, girls . . . haha, it still feels so surreal that we actually had such a solid conversation about that kind of stuff. Yeah, Stupid Ed's a good guy . . .

We just chilled at my place for the rest of the night, playing PS3, reading Failblog.org, and eventually settling in theO's chat for a bit while he'd threaten to type horrible things under my account.

It was a good Saturday.

SUNDAY:

Drove out to Jericho Beach near UBC to have a barbecue with my old Superstore people. I brought my bullwhip. Everyone that tried enjoyed it, regardless of how welted they then became (everyone got some good notches put into them, bwahaha).

Now and then they'd keep asking me to come back to Superstore to work, since they really do need the people. Honestly, that's looking more and more like something I might end up doing . . . but only if the money's good enough. 'Cause that's pretty much the thing now: I need to be making more money for a regular job or it's just not gonna work.

And then I came home to insanity, like the US women's volleyball team losing to Cuba (freakin' intense game, though!), some things coming up at theO that I need to watch for, more failblog sharing, and my brother's video of him on the wooden coaster at Playland:

("I totally just sacked myself twice!")

So that's my brother. Talks in a similar manner to myself. It's hereditary or something. Erm . . . that was more in line with the "This is either the very best idea I've ever had or the very worst". Less so with the "I totally just sacked myself twice!" bit.

Then I had an adventure posting the podcast. That was less fun though it makes for a good story.

As for Fan Words . . . I'll work on those soon, I promise!
