. . . BB code doesn't work for News Nuggets. Stop trying to use them.
Ahem.
Outside of that, job interview went well, and I just need to fill out the massive application/background form to continue with the process.
Also, "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey is now on Rock Band. That's awesome.
Finally, Sakura-Con is this week. Holy crap. Better get on top of that one . . .

Regarding Last Post:
I've definitely been keeping track of developments in the TwoFacedLullaby incident since the story broke out. Some have been less impressive than others. Such is life.
If anyone has any questions about this subject, do feel free to ask them here, and I will answer them as best I can.
Further, if anyone feels I've been unfair/cruel/mean this past week, or needs to speak on behalf of anyone, I encourage you to comment here and tell me how you feel. I'll definitely read and respond to help explain myself as I need to, but I can promise that no one will attack you in response - that said, I ask others here not to reply directly to any of these comments this time; this may be one of our few chances to plainly hear the other side of this whole mess.
I do want to respond to one thing I've seen come up once again since last post, though. TwoFacedLullaby has commented elsewhere about how she "got in trouble for reporting a popular member of obvious tracing, and getting upset when nothing was done about it in over two weeks".
If someone close to her would like to pass this on to her, that would be appreciated. But if anyone would truly like to know why - among other more basic "moderators aren't automatic robots" reasons - the reporting of this popular member took so long . . .
. . . it was because this whole situation was such a big deal. As Adam had once stated, this member was "the worst plagiarist in the history of the site". We were compiling files/lists/evidence had we ever need to make any official statements, and couldn't just delete things away if we needed them for proof later. We had to be quiet, covert, lest people pick up on these bits and either cover up or delete the evidence themselves (which did still happen a little when said-member was finally confronted). These aren't things we can discuss openly, nor are they things we can take immediate action on if the problem is larger than a couple piecemeal bits of stolen artwork.
This is in fact extremely similar to the measures we took upon TwoFacedLullaby herself, which is why over a full month had passed since we noticed new dummy accounts popping before taking direct action. As is the case with so many things at the site, the site can run smoothly because the messy instances get taken care of behind closed doors - and we like to try to keep it that way unless forced otherwise.
Any further questions or thoughts can be asked below. I'll answer as much as I can.
