Something hilarious I found on Tumblr

This is by bleachlists on Tumblr. She does hilarious skits with the bleach characters (mostly OOC, but still funny as hell). This is one of them.

What if Aizen has been good the whole time?

As requested by anon. :)

We’ve already considered various reasons why the popular theory that Aizen is secretly good may be spot-on. But now it’s time to consider what that would mean for Bleach. If it turns out that Aizen has been a good guy from the beginning, what would result?

1. Aizen would get to give another long-ass monologue.

First and foremost, Aizen would have to explain about how all of his machinations from the beginning were for the good. At length. In excruciating detail.

Ichigo: NOOOOO

Ichigo: FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, WHY CAN’T YOU JUST BE EVIL AND STOP TALKING AT ME

Aizen: …

Aizen: You do not make the best audience.

2. Aizen would help the Gotei-13 fight the Quincy.

If Aizen turned out to be good, then that would mean he’d get to leave prison. Join the good fight against the Quincy. Maybe help out Shinji or Rukia or somebody else that would be dramatically fulfilling.

Aizen: Hello I am here to rescue you.

Shinji: I choose death.

3. The Soul King would have to be evil.

Plus (and most obviously, I guess), Aizen being good would mean that the Soul King is in fact evil. The two of them are like two sides of a ‘good/evil’ coin. Or something.

Soul King: Or maybe we’re both good and this is all just a hilarious misunderstanding.

Aizen: It’s a shonen manga not a romantic comedy.

Soul King: Well sure, with that attitude.

4. Aizen would have to have Gin-levels of brain block about how much “ultimate good” can excuse “repetitive evil.”

No matter how good Aizen’s ultimate goals are revealed to have been, that doesn’t change the fact that he tormented people and stabbed basically all of his subordinates and created a race of murderous arrancar and betrayed Soul Society and etc., etc. So if Aizen is going to suddenly say, “But I did it all for YOU, ultimate good,” that’s only going to mean one thing. Aizen has severely skewed ideas about how much “but it was all for a good reason” can excuse.

Aizen: Most of the people I stabbed were evil.

Hinamori: [coughs]

Aizen: I did say ‘most.’

5. We’d have a reason for Aizen not joining the Quincy.

We still don’t know exactly why Aizen decided not to let the Quincy break him out of jail. Other than the fact that “Quincy stooge” isn’t the most attractive job prospect ever. But if Aizen turns out to be good, then we’ll have a solid reason for Aizen turning down the Quincy.

Aizen: Because joining an army with the express purpose of turning traitor and destroying them from within is a frightfully stupid plan.

Ishida: …

Ishida: Shut the hell up.

6. We’d have a good reason for Aizen powering up Ichigo.

As opposed to the only canon reason we’ve had so far, which was, “Aizen was kind of lonely I guess.”

Aizen: Yes basically I lost to you on purpose, Kurosaki Ichigo, to give you the burst of confidence I knew you’d need to beat the Quincy.

Ichigo: I lost my powers because of that fight!!

Aizen: I think more longterm than that.

7. Urahara would presumably know.

If Aizen turns out to be good, most of the characters will be shocked. But not Urahara. Because I’m pretty sure he knows everything.

Urahara: This is exactly why I just sealed Aizen up and then claimed he was immortal.

Ichigo: Wait, you SAVED him from me??

Urahara: Try to see the big picture, Kurosaki.

Ichigo: I HATE EVERYTHING

8. Perhaps we’d see/learn something about Aizen’s bankai.

Not that Aizen needs a bankai. His shikai is already pure godmode. But still. We’ve never heard a peep about Aizen’s bankai, which is a little weird. Maybe if Aizen joins Team Good, we’ll get to know something about it.

Aizen: I don’t have a bankai.

Aizen: I faked the captain’s exam using my shikai.

Aizen: My zanpakuto spirit then came to me and said, “Hey want a bankai?” and I was like, “Dude, do I look like I need one?”

Ichigo: …

Aizen: See? My monologues are pure gold.

9. Aizen may have been serious about taking the Soul King’s place.

Aizen claimed that his plan was to occupy the empty throne in the sky. Also he seems to not like the Soul King. This seems to imply that Aizen’s big evil plan was (?) to kill the Soul King and take his place. But if Aizen turns out to be good…then maybe that still is his plan. But just not an evil one. Because the Soul King is evil, but Aizen also knows that a linchpin has to exist for the sake of the universe. So Aizen is planning to to be that linchpin. For the sake of everybody.

Aizen: You’re welcome, children and also puppies.

Ichigo: This is really hurting my brain.

10. A lot of people would have - trouble accepting it.

I just have to imagine that the “Aizen is good after all!” news would not sit very well with everybody.

Hitsugaya: [endless screaming]

Urahara: So that’s a ‘no’ for the Welcome Back Aizen party?
