“That blinding light again, where am I?" Angel moves her arm away from her eyes as she reappears in what seems to be the grass-filled remains of some ancient civilization. “What is this place?” Now with her halo gone, all of Angel's memories of her time being a soul return to her in an icy chill. Images of the beginning, floating above the scene of her own death before being visit by an angel just like how she used to be. The feelings of apprehension at seeing the giant mechanical fortress named Heaven. How that machine had warped her into an angel and forced her into collecting souls. Angel is speechless as the realization slams into her, leaving her out of breath and on the verge of tears. “I don't understand! What am I supposed to believe anymore?! Is all life just some stupid j…” She freezes entirely as an ominous hooded figure in black robes and carrying a scythe steps into view. She turns around to flee, but the figure grabs her elbow. “Wait.” Angel immediately recognizes the voice. She turns around and point accusingly. “You! You're that guy that pulled that... that thing off of me. And now, you're all dressed like this. Who are you anyway?” The figure lets go and takes a second to glance at himself. “Dressed like…? Whoa. I guess we must have changed when we entered into, whatever this place is.” Angel angrily knocks off the unnamed man’s hood to reveal his face. “It's not enough that everything a lie, but then you have to go and show up like the reaper in front of me.” The man clutches his scythe, aggravation appearing on his face. “Look, for all I know, maybe I am a reaper. I honestly have no clue what's even going on here. Is everyone's death experience like this?” Bluntly Angel responds, “No, Reaper, most the time I just take their souls and go shove them into a machine called Heaven so that they can be used for energy.” Reaper calms considerably before responding, “What?” Angel nods solemnly. “That's right angels are just souls like me who've been forced into feeding souls to Heaven.” Before Reaper can respond, he suddenly clutches his stomach and starts shimmering out of reality. “Wha-what's going on?” Angel glares at him menacingly. “Hey! Where do you think you're going?” With little more than a pop, Reaper completely disappears. Angrily, Angel shouts at the top of her voice. “Yeah, okay. Just leave me here then. I'll just spend the rest of eternity turning over some old stones or something.”
