Black stared longingly out the window of the bland subway, looking apon the misty hills with silent sadness. The tainted gray hills speed by her window as if taunting her to see them. Of course she would not. That was forbidden, unexceptible, and would bring forth certain death to those who lived in this realm. Here the onlt town was for miles around was Mirror. It was the last city before the edge of the lost realm, and marked the slight gray lining at the edge of fanticy. The small city was void of any colour, lifless, filled with shadows that wispear your name. Tall gray buildings, made of glass and porclean filled the streets, silver clouds rained tears above. Black had never been anywhere but Mirror, though she longed to. Yearned to strech her limbs in someplace else, to wispear secrets to new shadows.

Sighing she pushed a stray lock of her black hair away from her face. Leting her eyes rest from the gray hills that where the wall from reality. This gray subway she rode on would take her to the edge of the city, where a lone church still stood. It was the only stone marking in Mirror, standing still strong although witherd from age. It was Blacks favorite place. The shadows there wispeard silence, and the stones keept no secrets hidden from wide eyes.

Smiling ever so slightly she watched as the the long white subway came to a stop. Fliping her dark long hair behind her shoulder she stood in silence. The many other people who rode the glass subway didn't take a second glance at the short girl as she stepped off teh rails. Flinching as the doors gave a slam behind her, she made her way twords the stone master peice.

This was the the vary last building between this realm and reality. Looking out onto the sweeping gray hills she wished she was there. Black was a girl of shades. No colour. No emotion. Thats what the citizens of Mirror were. Lifless cold shells. But when Black was here, she felt more alive. More in colour. Less than her frail exectence in this pitiful realm. She wanted to be there. Watch reality harshly pass her by. But yet she was here because reality didn't want her. Lost from its memory and forbiden to exist anywhere but here, or risk teh fall of the frail realm that protets her. So for now she would stay here. Listening to the shadows speak and clouds scream. For here she would be. Here she would stay. In this small ruined church she would comfort herself with the stones of past.

Here she could think.

Watch.

Be.
