So heres the wrap up of my life in the past month. Nothing. Nothing has happened since I last did a serious post, up until this weekend. This weekend was the boss. It was fantastic. I didn't go into the weekend expecting it. But its surprising how much fun just being around the right people can be.
So over the weekend was Anime Milwaukee if you didn't already hear from Shultzie or Kat. I went to the con with a closet cos. It was fairly simple just a basic suit and Boba Fett helmet with a top hat. It surprisingly worked out well.
Friday was really nice. Woke up early, got my shit together, and then Ryu picked me up. Then we got the rest of the crew that we went up with. I unfortunately lost shotgun, or chewie as I like to call it, so this meant I rode up in the middle of the back. I ended up just sliding forward and talking with Ryu up front. It was funny and really awesome. We get there early, got our badges, and sat around until our room was ready. Once it was I got into my cos. The convention really started going and panals started up. I then bumped into Shulztie and hung with for most the evening. At some point in the evening Shulztie, my friend Sam, and I went to a reverse question panal with Chris Cason. Being the complete idiot that I am, I had no idea who Chris Cason was. After the panal, Shultz walked up to chris and started talking with him I was standing right by him. Then Chris was like, "I just have to get a picture of you." So I was like, sure...
I was then Walking around later. When I found out who Chris Cason was. Here is a nice short list of his characters:
- Mr. Popo/Tien (DBZ)
- Gluttony (FMA)
- Several others (These are the only ones I care about lol)
But anywho. So I felt like an ass because I didn't know who he was and I completely under-appreciated the picture. The night went on, we ended up chilling in the room once it got later. But we did manage to swagger on down for the awesome riff of Pokemon the first movie. Then Went back up and introduced my friend Sam to Nostalgia Critic. He had never seen any of the videos so we thought, hell why not have a marathon? Especially because we were going to the Doug Walker panal in the morning. Slept from 3 to 6.
So Up at 6 on Saturday. I grabbed myself a nice mountain dew and walked outside the room and just people watched. Very interesting stuff you see. That was pretty much the theme of Saturday was people watching. I wore my poorly made Linakra outfit during the AWESOME Doug Walker Panal. He did not realize I was trying to be Linkara. Oh well. So after the panal I changed into Dapper Fett and met back up with Shulztie and pretty much people watched.(Edit: So I posted this and then I realized I forgot a main point here. Me and Shulztie went to a Spike Spencer panal (Voice of Shinji from Evangelion). After the panal I started to do a Steve Blum impression and well that lead to me doing a Macho Man Randy Savage voice and it just wrecked my voice. The title of the post is because I was also doing the movie guy voice.) It was noice because I was sick of walking and stopping for pictures every so often. So I let people come to me. We then went into the exhibit hall and I got a sweet picture with Doug. Thanks again Shultzie. And then people watched again. Time went on we chilled in the room until like 12 and then went to the rave. Me and Ryu came up with some awesome dances. We got tired and walked to the game room were we ran into Doug Walker once again. My friends got a game in with him in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It was the most epic games I have seen in a while. We eventually crashed around 3 or 4. Once again I woke back up at 6. NO SLEEP FOR ME!!!!
Sunday was just shenanigans. Just dicked around most the day. But it was fun. Went home and then later in the night me and Ryu had Wild Zero Night. That was a hoot. Yep so thats that. Thanks for the read.
