Healing Kita

I copied this from my journal.

Continued From Reasons

Juushiro followed Ulquiorra to the closed door. He turned to the Espada, "Leave". He was a bit surprised when Ulquiorra left. Juushiro entered the room, closing it again.

Juushiro set up a kido lamp and put it aside. His eyes narrowed at the sight before him. Blood was leaking out of her clasped hands on her shoulder soaking her shirt and the ground below. He knelt. "Kita.." Kita looked up at him and Juushiro brushed away a tear. Closing his eyes, he focused his reiatsu to numb her entire side. She eased up from her cramped position and he used Kido to look at her arm. Juushiro wasn't sure if he could trust the Espada's journal. Stress was building up at her elbow, but it seemed his information was correct.

The dislocated arm was the simplest part of the injury but the bones in her shoulder blade and collarbone were almost completely shattered. He hissed but kept any anger back. His lessons had taught him that anger could ruin a healing. Juushiro took off his haori and stripped the remainder of her shirt sleeve. He ripped a strip of his haori and wrapped up the shoulder, tightly.

He brushed her hair back out of her eyes as his other hand started to glow. He whispered into her ear. "This is going to hurt more before it gets better." Then, he forcefully began pushing the bones back together.

Shots of iron hot pain ran up Kita's spine, and she grasped at the fabric of Juushiro's kimono. Tears started streaming down her face again. She has thought that she was out of tears by now. She hiccuped in pain and forced amusement.

He stroked her head. "It'll be over soon." He winced inwardly. If Unohana had been here, she'd be asleep during this. He calmed his mind and started forming the bone. Shivers took place of her pain, hot and cold, as her blood tried to return to clotting. Sweat beaded Juushiro's brow as he continued to order her body's healing to speed up.

Finally, the hole in Kita's shoulder was gone. Juushiro took off his strips of the haori. There was a purple bruise by her collarbone. It was still tender, but he was out of time. He draped the haori over her, taking a deep breath. "That's the best I can do. Your collarbone is still weak." Juushiro opened the door, breathing in the fresh air.

"Thank you.." Kita murmured. stumbling up.

Juushiro placed a hand on her other shoulder. "Your welcome, Kita-chan."
