Otakuthon 2013

Sorry I forgot to mention this two months ago, but just letting you know that the 2013 Otakuthon event will take place at the Palais des Congres on August 14-16. A must visit for Montreal-based Otaku as well as for non-Montreal-based ones who plan on visiting the Canadian town during this summer. I don't know if I will be going or not at the moment, but if I do, I will make sure to have my camera ready to take cosplay photos for show at this website and on my deviantArt page.

Montreal Comic-Con Fall 2013

If you're a Montreal-based comic book fan or are a comic book fan living outside the Canadian town but plan to visit there in the Fall, then you should mark your calendars for September 13-15 as during then, the Fall 2013 Montreal Comic-Con event will be taking at the Palais des Congres. And as for you Battlestar Galactica fans planning on checking out the event, you'll be amazed to hear that the convention event itself will be hosting a cast reunion event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Re-imagining BSG T.V. miniseries, which preluded the 2004 BSG T.V. series.

Make sure to visit www.montrealcomicon.com during the coming weeks as new event info is likely to show up. As for me, if I do go, I better remember to carry my Spider-Man mask and glove with me to wear in case I want to place myself in pictures with cosplayers (and maybe a few media guests) of course.
