Attention all "Stargate" fans, mark your calendars as U.S. T.V. broadcaster SyFy (formerly known as "Sci-Fi Channel") will premier the third T.V. series installment of the "Stargate" franchise on October 2, 2009 at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM Central, titled "Stargate Universe". In this series, the protagonists are a multinational exploration team who happen to be lost in space, far away from Earth while onboard what appears to be an anicient spaceship, named "Destiny", and so to survive, they need to discover the secrets of the Destiny's Stargate. Note that on the premier day, the first two episodes of this new "Stargate" series air edited together in a 2-hour feature format, and will do so for the series' Canadian broadcast start, which will also take place on October 2, 2009 at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT, and happening on Canadian T.V. network SPACE: The Imagination Station.
