The Hollywood Reporter had reported yesterday that this week had become another tragic week for the Anime distribution biz of North America. For, Peter Keefe, the guy behind "Voltron: Defender of The Universe" (the 1984 Americanized editing of 1981's "Beast King GoLion" and 1982's "Armored Fleet Dairuger XV") had died this Thursday as a result of throat cancer. He was 57 years old at the time of his death.
Apart from "Voltron", Keefe was involved in making the 1987 T.V. series "Saber Rider and The Star Sheriffs" (the Americanized edited version of 1984's "Star Musketeer Bismark").
Yes, he will be missed by lots.
