Yesterday, the "Electric Playground" mentioned that a film based on "Emily The Strange" is currently in the works. Although a full release date isn't yet announced, IMDB speculates that it should be released sometime in 2013. So far, Chloë Grace Moretz (who played Hit Girl for the film "Kick-Ass") has already signed on to play the film's lead role with Dark Horse Entertainment's Mike Richardson to produce.
For those of you not familiar with "Emily The Strange", it started off as a sticker created to promote clothing line Cosmic Debris at music concerts, records, and skateboard shops, but as years went by, the gothic fashion-themed franchise would expand to include novels and comic books.
