If you're the kind of "Gundam" fan who feels that "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE" had already caused the whole "Gundam" franchise to jump the shark because it's a T.V. series for kids featuring a man-against-alien conflict as opposed to a mature audience anime depicting a grimdark and complex man vs. man conflict, here's some piece of news to lighten your day. In the 19th issue of the Japanese magazine series "Great Mechancics", Bandai Hobby staff memeber Toshikaki Baba announced that a "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE" for mature audiences is currently under development. Though the story's format and premise have not been indicated, Baba indicated that the staff working on this new story to be set in the "Gundam AGE" universe planned this to be a dark-edged tale. He also mentioned this is something that fans of Universal Centurry Gundam can enjoy too.
