News: Free Comic Book Day 2012

Mark your calendars for May 5 because on that day will be the 11th annual Free Comic Book Day event. Like every other, Free Comic Book Day is a time when comic shops worldwide give out free copies of specific comic book one-shots(each one-shot carrying the "Free Comic Book Day" label on cover) and each year, it's a different list of free comic book choices for store visitors to choose from. The event is not just for comic book fans to celebrate, but also for those never before into comics to take the time to learn about the fun of reading and collecting comics so as to seek out which comics may have their kind of storytelling tastes.

Make sure to visit the Free Comic Book Day website on April to find out which stores in your area are hosting this commercial holiday. In the meantime, feel free to check out the site to find which comics will have free copies to be distributed during this year's event.

As for me, I'll probably be looking out for these free one-shots during Free Comic Book Day: Avengers: Age of Ultron, DC Comics The New 52 Special Ed., IDW Publishing's Transformers No. 80.5, and Witchblade: Unbalanced Pieces.
