Today, news websites ANN and TV Shows on DVD.com have confirmed that Shout Factory will be releasing a 40-DVD disc set conatining the first seven seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the popular American Sci-Fi live-action T.V. series based on the Super Sentai franchise (note that the U.S. show itself is called "Power Rangers Zeo" in season 4, "Power Rangers Turbo" in season 5, "Power Rangers in Space" in season 6, and "Power Rangers Lost Galaxy" in season 7). According to TV Shows on DVD, the set will come out on July 30 while individual volumes of the show will starting hitting the DVD store shelves on August 31, starting with the volume labeled "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 1 Vol. 1".

For all you long time fans of the T.V. classic, now you can relive your days watching those early seasons of one amazing sci-fi superhero legend. As for thsoe of you who are parents of kids who are Power Rangers fans, you should consider getting this 40-DVD-disc set as a gift for them so they can experience past PR incarnations while they enjoy watching today's PR incarnations. In the meantime, the first three seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, if not mistaken, can be found having re-airings on Teletoon Retro every night at 12:30 AM ET/PT and Sundays at 7:00 AM ET/PT.
