Today, I post an update about the survey on which anime gals should be in the next 8 card installments of my 18-sketch card "Anime Divas" series, which is intended not only for art gallery showing at Otakuthon 2012, but also to be sold during the event itself. While I already had done 10 of 18 sketch card installments (Miyuki Taka, Lina Inverse, Tsuruya, Maetel, Yoko Littner, Motoko Kusanagi, Sasha Kodai, Mari Illustrious Makinami, Honey Kisaragi/Cutey Honey, and Black Magician Girl), I give you an update on the survey results.
Regarding the oldschool anime division:
Sakura Kinomoto (from Cardcaptor Sakura) has 4 votes. Lum Invader (from Urusei Yatsura) and Chibiusa/Sailor Chibi Moon (from Sailor Moon S) are tied with 2 votes each, Momoko Hanasaki/Wedding Peach (from Wedding Peach), Merle (from Vision of Escaflowne), Angewomon (from Digimon Adventure), Chun-Li (from Street Fighter II: The Movie), Jun/G-3 (from Gatchaman), and Noriko Takaya (from Gunbuster) are tied with 1 vote each. However, there are so far no votes for Françoise Arnoul/Cyborg 003 (from Cyborg 009), Lynn Minmay (from Super Dimension Fortress Macross), Lunch (from Dragon Ball), Kei (from Dirty Pair), Bulma (from Dragon Ball), Misa Hayase (from Super Dimension Fortress Macross), Sayaka Yumi (from Mazinger Z), Sasami (from Tenchi Muyo!), Yuri (from Dirty Pair), Fujiko Mine (from Lupin III), and Princess Fala (from Beast King GoLion).
As for the newschool anime division:
Holo (from Spice and Wolf) and Black Rock Shooter each got 2 votes. Madoka Kaname (from Puella Magi Madoka Magica), Hikari (from Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl), CC (from Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion), Sakura Haruno (from Naruto), Talho Yuki (from Eureka 7), Ika Musume/Squid Girl (from Squid Girl), Zakuro Fujiwara/Mew Zakuro (from Tokyo Mew Mew), Amy Rose (from Sonic X), and Lacus Clyne (from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED) each got 1 vote. No votes for Kanu Unchou (from Ikki Tousen), Masane Amaha/Witchblade (from Witchblade), Rukia Kuchiki (from Bleach), Hakufu Sonsaku (from Ikki Tousen), Mio Akiyama (from K-ON!), Sakaki (from Azumanga Daioh), Tenma Tsukamoto (from School Rumble), Sango (from Inu Yasha), Forte Stollen (from Galaxy Angel).
