I am so incredibly close with my family. My parents especially so, a lot more than a lot of people I know. My parents know when I'm hiding something, when I lie, when I'm not telling them something, and they know things without me having to tell them. But, then, they are my parents. They're supposed to know us so well, right?
Well, about a week ago, I stayed over at Joe's, and at 10 am, my dad called, waking me up. I tried to be quiet so I didn't wake Joe up (which I ended up doing anyway), but I didn't want my dad to think I was sleeping because he knows I don't sleep in that late. Ever. He asked me what I was doing, and I lied and said I was at a friends house. (Though, it's not really lying since Joe is a friend.) My parents know about Joe, but they didn't really know how serious we were.
So, last night, I went shopping with my mom. We had a mother daughter day. It was so incredibly nice. But, she was telling me that from my twenty minute conversation with my dad that day, he figured out that I was sleeping with Joe. I have no idea how he figured it out. I didn't act any differently than normal or an differently than I would have if I had been at a friend's house.
My dad has a sixth sense. He always knows when something's different. The first time I slept with Joe, my dad called me the next day and was like, "I couldn't sleep last night. Why couldn't I sleep?" Coincidence? I think not.
My mom was oddly okay with the whole thing. I mean, she had been with many guys before my age. So had my dad, so they couldn't really judge me. But, I talked to my mom about it just like I would with any of my friends. I thought it'd be this big, awkward conversation. But, it wasn't.
I just really love my parents and how understanding they are. :)

I feel like I haven't posted anything other than that quiz thing for awhile, so I decided to change that, though I don't really have much to say.
I always feel weird just posting about what happens in my day because I don't really think people care all that much.
But, since I don't have anything real profound to talk about, I might as well type up something, right? A part of me really wants to use this as a journal of sorts and try to type up something every day, but I know how that's going to go already. The first couple days I'll post something every day, then I'll forget and get bored of doing that. Plus, I don't really know what to talk about in a diary. All the ones I had as a kid just recounted what I did that day. It didn't really have anything to do with what I was feeling at the moment. But, I wanna try and see what happens. So, here I go.
Anyone watch the BBC: Sherlock? I finished it and am totally obsessing over it now. Benedict Cumberpatch (Sherlock) isn't hott by any means, but his voice.... hmmmm.... it's like dark chocolate. His voice will give you an eargasm. :d
I've downloaded the scores from youtube and have been enjoying listening to the eight songs I've gotten so far on repeat for the past two days.
At the bank, where I work, we're down three tellers right now. :/ On a Friday, we usually have 6 tellers. And for the past month, we've been working with 4. Though, tomorrow, we'll be down to 3 of us. Luckily, we're getting a teller from another branch to come help us out so we'll have at least 4 of us. It's just been so crazy. Though, after next week, we'll have 5 tellers again, and we just hired our 6th, and he's to start October 3rd, I think. It'll be interesting to have a boy back with all of us girls. :)
Other than that, I've been hanging out with Joe. He suffers from depression and anxiety, so it's been a little interesting. But, I want so much to make this work. I've just never had it where I guy that I've had a crush on legitimately likes me back, and I think that's what makes him so special to me. So, I really want to make this work. :)
