As Long as you Smile

I just found the most awesome quote from my Tumblr account. "As long as you smile, life will smile back."

Do you have any idea how true this is? And, we aren't talking about those fake, forced smiles. Because believe it or not, life knows it isn't real.

I'm talking about the smile that you wear genuinely even if you can't stand your life and the people in. You're smiling because you know you are better than to let it get you down. You are smiling because you know no matter how bad your life might be, there is always someone somewhere who has it ten times worse.

Of course, there are going to be those people on here that read this and wonder, 'How could anyone have a life worse than mine?' Just do a little research of the people in third world countries. We take so much for granted here. Their lives are, to us, sad and horrible. But, to them, it's life and they don't know any different. They are smiling because they make the best of every day they are given because they know it's a miracle they are there.

Also, this quote is talking about mind over matter type of stuff here. I am a firm believer that if you think the worst is going to happen, it probably will. So, you have to think positively that life is going to get better. Look for the best in people, and eventually it'll come out. Will power is everything.

So, please remember, as long as you smile, life will smile back.

Pottermore!

I'm FINALLY in Pottermore!
Give me your usernames so I can find you guys!

Supernatural

The new season has started, and I'm really excited about it!

There are rumors that Castiel's character will be written out. I have no idea if this is true, but I can't decide how I feel about it. After Dean, Cas is my favorite character. He brings so much to the show, and he's been with it now for a number of seasons. He's formed this undeniable bond with the Winchester boys, Dean especially.

While I will be devastated to see Cas go- if he does, I like the idea of the show being about the road the Winchester's take by themselves. It has always been Dean and Sam. Sam and Dean. The brothers forever and always. So, I kind of like the idea of it ending with just the two of them.

What do you guys think?

Spell Out Your Words!

Go here to see a comparison of what pops up google when you type "u" versus "an individual" go here.

I personally dislike when people don't spell out the word "you." It's not that long; two extra letters will not kill you, I promise! And, it makes you look uneducated. I hate text talk. Always did, always will. When I text, I spell out everything. Everything has to be grammatically correct.

I don't like it when people can't figure out where commas go either. They usually don't have them or have too many of them. Just, find a happy medium. That, or pay attention in your English Composition class more.

Why all the hate?

So, I'm learning about how influential the US is all over the world. And, how what happens in the United States pretty much affects everyone in the world. We trade with nearly everyone, so if our production is down, people aren't going to be able to get the imports they need. The US has the highest production of grain that we export. We feed everyone! Many countries in Europe don't have as great of a military anymore, and so they rely on the US in case they would need us. We give aid to many countries.

If we are so bad of a country, why do we have such an immigration problem? If the United States is such a horrid place to be, why are so many people coming here illegally?

I've seen a lot of people lately having so much hate for Americans. Not necessarily on here, but I just wanted to rant somewhere. Especially during the 9/11 time a couple days ago because we are being arrogant and selfish saying that what happened affected the whole world. Well, it did. A lot of the middle eastern countries were greatly affected. Business and trade were probably affected as well.

So excuse the fuck out of me if we are a grieving country that wishes to honor ALL of the lives lost. Not just the soldiers, but the lives lost in the war in Iraq and those countries as well. There were a lot of innocent, civilian lives lost over the past 10 years.

Yes, I know there are other countries that are always in terror of being attacked, and some have been in war and struggle for a lot longer than the US has, but this is the first time other than the Civil War that we have been hit so hard in our main land.

So, I'm sorry, but what gives anyone the right to tell others to get over themselves during such a hard time? I had to rant because it has been bothering me for awhile. Feel free to ignore everything. ^^'
