Secret Santas!
So, I had a really hard time with this one. But, I like a challenge! Sorry, 21Emmz12, I can’t write poems, so I went with a story. I don’t know anything about Bleach so I thought that I’d better not write about that. So, I took the cookies, random and tried to make it funny for you. I saw that you like Inuyasha, so I took it from there, hope that’s ok! XD Enjoy!
“Kagome, where are you taking me this time?” Inuyasha asked her impatiently, his arms crossed in front of him. He looked out across the street, taking in his surroundings. They were in the heart of Kagome’s village now.
“I thought I’d give you a little taste of Tokyo. We’ve been on a demon hunt all month. It’s time for a little down time, you know?” Kagome glanced over to make sure his baseball hat was still atop of his head. She couldn’t help but feel as though they were on a date. She had gotten dressed up in her favorite yellow dress and everything. Too bad Inuyasha wouldn’t wear anything other than that red kimono, so the two were getting a few strange looks, but Kagome simply ignored them.
“Whatever,” Inuyasha shrugged and just kept looking around, in awe by the strange, tall buildings all around them. Nothing like where he was from. It looked pretty in the white snow.
Kagome tugged her scarf tighter as a cold breeze cut right through her. It was actually one of the nicest days they’d had in awhile. The sun was shining, so the temperature was bearable. Finally, they were in front of the little shop that Kagome had wanted to take him. “We’re here!” she exclaimed, gesturing with her arms before grabbing Inuyasha’s hand and dragging him inside the café.
The warm air greeted them, and Kagome unzipped her coat a little. “Let’s go order some hot chocolate and then just go window shopping!” Kagome suggested, just happy that she could be spending this time with Inuyasha.
“Sure.” Inuyasha didn’t really care what they did. Her company was good enough for him. He’d rather have just spent time at her house where the humans here didn’t give him strange looks at his unusually long, silver hair or at his strange, red kimono. But, if Kagome was happy, he was happy.
Kagome returned with two cups of hot chocolate, handing one over to Inuyasha. “Be careful, it’s really hot,” she warned him. “After a couple minutes in this cold, it’ll cool off in no time, she assured him before heading back outside, where they turned down a random street and decided to wander aimlessly.
“Let’s watch a movie!” Kagome suggested as they stumbled upon a theater. When Inuyasha looked at funny, she continued, “Just come on. You’ll like it.” She grabbed his hand again and hurried to the ticket booth and picked the only action one she could see. It was an American movie with the star being Chuck Norris. She knew it would have to be good, then!
~.~
When the movie was finished playing, the pair headed back outside into the cool air. Their breaths could be seen in front of them as they walked. Inuyasha was truly engulfed in the movie, loving every minute of it. “That guy was such a badass. Chuck Norris is awesome!” he exclaimed. “I would love to fight him and match our strengths.”
Kagome laughed at the thought of InuYasha fighting Chuck Norris. “I have to say I’d pay to see that,” she admitted.
“Where can we find this guy? Let’s do it!” Inuyasha was full of enthusiasm and vigor now.
“He’s off in America, doing awesome things most likely. And, we cannot just run over to America to watch you fight him. No matter how entertaining and fun that might be,” Kagome answered. If she could afford it, she might seriously think about it. “For now, let’s just head home and relax and get warm again.”
Inuyasha agreed, though he seemed a little dejected at not being able to go and find Chuck Norris. They walked side by side the rest of the way home, and Kagome had to fight the urge to grab his hand. She didn’t want to make the day awkward between the two of them. They were getting along, which was unusual for the two of them to go so long without a fight, so she wasn’t going to mess that up.
When they arrived back at the Higorashi house, Kagome’s mother was in the kitchen baking cookies. “What’s the occasion, Mom?” Kagome asked as she took the scarf off from around her neck.
“Oh, I was just in one of those moods, you know? Help yourselves!” she smiled at the two of them.
Inuyasha inspected the finished products, unsure of what they are. Kagome handed him a chocolate chip cookie. “Try it. They’re delicious,” she told him, taking a bite of her own cookie, savoring the flavor.
Inuyasha took it, sniffed it, and took a tentative bite. Smiling, he replied, “This is great! Why didn’t you bring these back with you before?”
“I will from now on!” Kagome vowed. Shippo would surely love these.
“It’s snowing outside!” Souta cried from the living room. Kagome went to the window and looked out, watching the light snowflakes fall to the earth.
The day couldn’t get much better. IT was filled with friends, family, Chuck Norris, and cookies. Can’t get much better than that!
