Ok, so I had to get this written down before I forgot it all. I'm going to try and be as detailed as I can because my dreams are always so freaking vivid.
The waterpark was huge. There were so many slides and different attractions. I found a classmate of mine from high school, Amanda. I was following her because she said she was going to meet up with the rest of our class. She ended up cutting through the sand volleyball court, and I ended up getting in the way of one of the games, which was being played by Sara, another classmate.
Sara seemed mad at first, and I tried to explain myself, but she was poking fun of me because I work at Walmart, and I tried to joke about it, too, and she seemed to lighten up. As I was talking to some of my other classmates, I told them how I didn't really like Sara because of how much she's changed since graduation.
As I was hanging out with everyone, the head of the activities for the day came over with a set of keys, saying she needed someone to go and deliver them to someone. Amanda offered to go, and so I thought I could go with. But, as we were heading to the car, it wasn't Amanda anymore, but Jesse, my ex boyfriend and also a classmate.
I thought the whole drive up was extremely awkward. I didn't know what to say or what I could talk about, so I stayed quiet.
Jesse looked over at me, "I have got to stop somewhere first. It won't take long."
I didn't like the idea, but if it wasn't going to take long, I shrugged and went along with it. I glanced out the window of the car and noticed we were going farther into the shady part of town. "Jesse? Where are we?" I asked.
He parked the car and told me to follow him inside. A giant man who was well over 6 foot ushered us inside and they had me wait in a seperate room mby myself. In the room I was in, there was a car under a tarp. It looked like a workshop. There was a door that led to the outside, one that went into another room, and then the door that led the room where JEsse and the guy were.
I got bored and listened in on Jesse's conversation. "I don't have $1000 more dollars. Just give me some more time."
Fear ran through me. Of all that I could remember of any stories that had this, someone got hurt or died, and I wasn't about to let that happen. I went to the other room, to see what it was. It was just another room that looked like the one I was in. There was a door that had a window to the side. I was going to go inside, but then a face appeared in the window, and I shut the door quickly, hiding.
We weren't going to be able to go out that way. Was this guy planning on keeping us here from the beginning? Suddenly, there was a knock on the door from the room I was in originally, scaring me, so I hid behind the car. The guy came into the room and went to the door to answer it. He didn't look too happy.
I slipped behind him and went into the room where JEsse was. "Jesse, we have to get out of here now," I whispered, pulling him behind me.
HE resisted. "Why? What's going on?" he asked, feigning ignorance.
"I know why we're here, and that guy is going to kill us!" I told him, fear coating every word.
Jesse nodded and started for the back door. I held him back. "There's someone out back there. I saw a face in the window, I swear. Let's go out the front. No one would expect that." He nodded, and we went out through the front.
As we are driving away, there is a bark from the backseat. There's a small poodle. The man's poodle. I so hoped he wouldn't be hunting us down.
The next thing I know, I am in the car with my mom, driving in the city somewhere. (It is heavily implied that Jesse and I ended up getting caught/hurt on our way out) Mom must not have known where we were taken because to get our destination, we had to drive passed the man's warehouse.
I look up at the warehouse, and he's got a huge, sniper riffle aimed at me. I panicked and ended up putting my head as close to the roof of the car as I could get, trying to tell my mom to hurry, but she could only go so fast in the traffic, and it sure didn't seem like she wanted to go very fast, either. We turned the corner, and I could tell the guy still was aiming at me, so I had to stay in that position for a long time until we were out of sight, and I saw him put the gun away.
For some reason, I knew I wasn't going to be safe for very long. But, just as I was about to get into the house, I woke up.
I woke up to the maintenance team vacuuming the hallways of my apartment. Joy.
Anyway, I doubt I got across how truly scared I was in this dream. But, just know that I was.
