Did anyone doing anything for gay Pride in Minneapolis this weekend? I was sadly unable to attend.

Though, I did get in an argument with someone on why homosexuals are as much of people as heterosexuals. It really infurates me when people thing that gays aren't "normal" or "regular" people.

Why the fuck aren't they?

This person was saying that gays should never have kids.
So, two people who love each other and decide that they are ready and go through the long, hard process of adopting a child shouldn't? They are only deciding to adopt when they are ready, when they truly want kids.
But, it's okay when a sixteen year old dropout who is doing tons of drugs and sleeping with four different men has a kid? According to society, it is. I mean, there's a fucking show.
I find that latter more grotesque and wrong.

I just wish people could open their eyes and see the world for how it is truly supposed to be.
Some of my best friends are gay. And that's okay. I love them.
