Talk at the Park

This story has been dead for a while but I’m here to resurrect it =]! Last where we picked off is that I (Eeva) signaled Kaoru to because I left something back at the house. I left Thana and Hikaru to their ‘date’. So this is my side of the story afterwards where I left off.
___
I left Thana and Hikaru to their business. Kaoru and I ran off towards the mansion. We both were holding hands unintentionally. I noticed and blushed, but I didn’t say anything. We stopped near a park. I caught my breath and said, “Kaoru…our hands our touching.” He blushed then smiled and said, “Something wrong with that?”. I could feel myself blush even though I was red from running. “N-No… Not at all! ... Why don’t we sit on that bench for a bit and look at the pond? I need to rest.” “Sure!” We sat together talking and looking at the pond. “I wish I could have brought my sketch pad. It sure is pretty nice and quiet out here.” Kaoru nodded. “So, you draw, Eeva?” “*nods* It doesn’t make me sad to do art nor happy. I’m not saying that in a bad way of course! It’s a strange feeling. It’s like my mind is floating but still focused, but only on the art project... I’m sorry I probably blabbed too much again!” Kaoru smiled at me and shook his head. “It’s fine. And it’s not just babble; you’re very unique.” I was startled. “You really think that?” “Of course I do!”, he exclaimed as he hugged me. I was blushing like any guy-shy girl would. But this time I didn’t care. I hugged him back and smiled wide. “Thanks, Kaoru.” “For what?” , he asked. “For everything you’ve done for me. You may not like to do art a lot like I do, but I hope you realize you’re special, too! I don’t know that by your talents, but I can tell by your heart.” I released my hug and was still smiling. Then after three seconds I started to blush like crazy and hid my face. Kaoru was confused. “I’m not trying to be offensive or anything. I’m just really guy-shy! I don’t take back what I said of course! I’m j-…” Kaoru nodded. “I understand.” He ruffled my hair. There was a little bit of silence as I started to collect myself. “Should we start heading back now?” asked Kaoru. “*nods* Yeah… I’ll text Thana that we’re on our way from the park.” “Sure thing!” We could see the house and I looked around and looked at Kaoru. He looked at me back. I smiled and said, “Kaoru, thanks for taking me out. I just thought they might have needed a bit of alone time, ha.” He smiled back and said, “We never went back to the house. But I think going to the park was more fun, huh?” “Sure was.”… We both blushed then started heading towards home.
I opened the door inside to the mansion. I looked around. “Hello?!? Thana! Hikaru! ...huh.” “That’s odd, you think they’d be here by-“ WAH-BAM! Smash! Kaoru and I looked at Thana and Hikaru a little weirded out. “Welcome home?”, I said. “What were guys doing crashing into the house like that?”, asked Kaoru. Thana stood up from the floor and wiped the dust on her skirt. Before I could speak Thana blurted, “I’m perfectly fine! Eheheh…” Hikaru got up and dusted his pants. “We can ask the staff to clean that up and fix it.” Hikaru and Thana examined Kaoru and I. They both grinned and started to walk around us. “So… what did YOU TWO do?” I blushed. “I forgot something and thought it would be nicer to stay inside and just chill out here.” “So what? You just waiting in front of the door like dogs waiting for us?” “N-No!... There’s nothing wrong with going on a walk!” I exclaimed blushing more. I looked around and saw that both the twins were gone. Probably having the same, nice little chit-chat I was having. I turned around and looked at Thana. “So… what did YOU TWO do?” “We just took a walk around the town, what else?” “Hm… Oh! We better figure out something for dinner! We can’t keep eating at that sushi place, nice as it is.” “… Don’t both the twins like Italian?” “I think so…” “Let’s try to make some Italian in that kitchen!” “Sure, sounds like a pretty good idea…*gurgle* How embarrassing…” “Haha, nothing’s wrong with hunger! C’mon!”
