If you're a "Star Trek" fan living in Los Angeles, U.S.A., there will be a 2-day "Star Trek" movie event held at American Cinematheque's Aero Theater as to pay tribute to 30 years of "Star Trek" movies. Each da of the event will open at 7:30 PM.
On the first day (which is Friday, December 4), there will be screening of "Star Trek" (2009), followed by a "Star Trek" merchandise giveaway event and a screening of "Free Enterprise", which isn't a film installment of the "Star Trek" franchise despite featuring many references to "Star Trek".
On the 2nd day (which is Saturday, Dec. 5), there will be screening of three "Star Trek" movies that consist the so-called "Genesis Trilogy": "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" (1982), "Star Trek III: The Search For Spock" (1984), and "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" (1986). Also on this day, there wil be a panel where "Star Trek" staff veteran Nicholas Meyer will a host a Q&A session, discussing his work on "ST II: TWOK", his co-writing of "ST IV: TVH", and his writing and directing of "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" (1991).
To find American Cinematheque's Aero theater, the address is 1328 Montana Avenue at 14th Street in Santa Monica. To enter the event per day, the ticket price is $10.00 (discount for senior citizens and students).
