News: Shatner To Get Lifetime Achievement Award From Banff

It looks like after the after the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics 2010 event, William "Bill" Shatner, known for playing James T. Kirk for "Star Trek" (1966. Better known as "Star Trek: The Original Series"), will be paying another trip to his birth nation Canada as he will be honored with a lifetime achievement award for his decades of television acting, an award to be presented at this year's Banff World Television Festival, which will take place in Banff, Alberta on June 13-16.

Apart from being involed in the "Star Trek" cast, Shatner's known for starring in "Resue 911" (1989), "TJ Hooker" (1982), and "Boston Legal" (2004) as well as guest roles in "Twilight Zone" (1959) and "The Outer Limits" (1963).
