TrekMovie.com had revealed yesterday that U.S. comic book publisher IDW Publishing is currently in development for the upcoming "Star Trek" comic book miniseries "Star Trek: Khan: Ruling in Hell", which is scheduled for launch on Oct. 13, 2010.

While it'll be written by Scott and David Tipton (who worked on "Star Trek: Burden of Knowledge" and "Star Trek: Spock: Reflections"), this miniseries will focus on what happened to Khan Noonien Singh and his followers during their time on Ceti Alpha V after the events depicted in the "Star Trek: The Original Series" episode "Space Seed" and before the events seen in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" (1982), therefore it will include how Khan transformed into the revenge-obssessed maniac he was in "ST II: TWOK".
