IDW Publishing has revelaed some new details on its upcoming Star Trek/Doctor Who crossever adventure tale. It will be a limited series titled Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation2" and running for eight issues. Also, this miniseries will involve an alliance between the cybermen and the Borg Collective. It will b e a collaboration between Scott and David Tipton (writers behind the comic book limited series Star Trek: Infestation) and Doctor Who writer Tony Lee.
Seems that the writers made an obvious choice for a villainous alliance, given that both race are cyborgs trying to expand their populations through biologically altering members of other races.
