News: Enterprise Float At A Parade

Yesterday, the 72nd Annual Sun Bowl Parade took place in El Paso, Texas (U.S.A.), the birthplace of Gene Roddenberry, the guy behind the original "Star Trek" series and "Star Trek: The Next Generation". The parade itself was recorded and seen on Channel 9-KTSM (cable U.S. Channel 10). If you had seen the parade yesterday, there was a float depicting the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 (the protagonal starship of the original "Star Trek" series), surrounded by parade participaters dressed up as characters from the "Star Trek" series and films. By the end the event, that float was declared the winner of the event's sweepstakes award (whatever that is). I posted this up to share something with you Sci-Fi fans out there.
