Although Barbie dolls usually target young girls, here's something I find will interest females of all ages (young and old) who are fans of the "Star Trek" franchise. Today, Mattel (maker of Barbie dolls) announced plans to release a line of 12" Barbie dolls meant to tie in with the upcoming "Star Trek" movie, but rather than dipict original Barbie characters trying to cosplay as "Star Trek" characters, this line will involve well detailed depictions of actual characters to appear in the movie itself.
