For Star Trek Nation, I'm planning to include a series of fan art posts called "Star Trek Fan Art Of The Day". In this, I will feature in each post, "Star Trek" fan art from various members of theOtaku.com. I will of course add my own to some segment posts.
I'm also looking for theOtaku.com members who wish to post their own fan "Star Trek" fiction series/one-shots on this WORLD. If you wish to have your Star Trek fan fiction work here, make sure to PM me about the work or at least send me a proposal on it, and I'll make sure your name is in this WORLD's "guest posters" list before giving you the O.K. to post your work. However, here are the guidelines for fan fiction work for this place:
- Must be "Star Trek" related.
- If you wish to include profanity in your work, pleases no R-rated swear words, but feel free to say like "what the f?", "wtf", "f'd up" (which are shortened versions of R-rated vulgar comments)
- No indications of R-rated or pornographic sexual situations! Don't even use R-Rated/explicit sexual terms! It's better to keep sexual content at a PG-rated level. Just huggig and kissing is okay!
- Feel free to write fan fiction where characters of non-Star Trek related comics, TV, movie, animated works, or video games play parts in "Star Trek" adventures (ex: "Haruhi Suzumiya" parodying or making its take on "Star Trek")
- If you're not sure how to write a "Star Trek" story, try watching "Star Trek" episodes and theatrical movies for reference or at least research on them. Try to avoid your fan fiction work sounding like too much like a summary of what actually happended in the authentic "Star Trek" TV episodes and movies, but feel free to make alternate takes on those events.
