For thsoe of you who know Gabriel Koener, he's the guy behind the visual effects art of both the 2003 "Battlestar Galactica" T.V. miniseries and its sequel, the 2004 "BSG" T.V. series. But of couse, BSG isn't the topic here. In this post, I present to you all what appears to be Koener's take on the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, the protagonal starship of the original "Star Trek" series, although the design itself isn't part of the official "Star Trek" continuity, but I believe you'll find this design very awesome! What I like about this piece is Koener's attempt to combine a retro look with a kind feel usually found in modern day Sci-Fi T.V. series and films. Take a look below and enjoy! Comments are welcome!
