So far, you've heard of "Star Trek: Countdown", the official 4-part comic book miniseries that depicts a pre-beginning stage for the plot of the upcoming 2009 film "Star Trek". Now, get ready as IDW Publishing (publisher of the same miniseries) is making preparations for "Spock: Reflections", which will be the first "Star Trek" comic book to take place after the events of "Star Trek" (2009). It will be on store shelves in July, but my advice to you all fans is to make sure to first read "Star Trek: Countdown", then see "Star Trek" (2009) in theaters, then go read "Spock: Reflections" to better understand the start of a whole new timeline within the "Star Trek" universe.
