That's our forecast for today, along with the winter storm warning that was issued. Most of Saturday was a combination of snow and rain. So right now it's cold, humid and very wet outside. And way too early since I haven't gone to bed just yet.
So, the past three days my Internet has been better. I still get dropped but no where near as often. I'm a bit leery though since what's causing it is related to the cold. This means the improvement could be on account of the storm in our area raising the temperatures.
It could also be related to all the vehicles from Comcast we've seen around the neighborhood the past week. Like every single day, we see them working on something. Doesn't make the problem any less irritating, but at least it looks like they're trying to figure it out.
Anyway, I decided to play Guild Wars earlier this afternoon. Everything went fine and I worked on some quests and other stuff I wanted to get done. I did run into one problem though. Someone got the bright idea to log in and immediately use the guild chat to tell everyone to go and have anal sex. @_@
I kid you not. What makes that a problem is anyone in the guild logged in, will see the chat, unless you turn it off. So when they also decided it was a bright idea to get 'descriptive' on how to do it so it would be ever so awesome... I put my own two cents in as it were in the form of:
*turns guild chat off*
Honestly, I'm there to play a game, not listen to people talk about crap like that. I assume they took me seriously since they shut up or moved it to whispers, so I didn't need to toggle it off after all. Ugh. I don't mind some of the joking and occasional swearing but that was just totally unnecessary.
