My Life Right Now

Oh how to put this and yet not violate the site terms.

My Internet is still NOT FIXED. Yes it's better, but I'm still getting drop offs at night, I had about eight last night where everything died for up to half a minute. Comcast is saying they fixed it so it must be at my end and they got off on the tangent of checking my router again.

Honestly, I want to just yell at them "IT'S NOT MY ROUTER YOU ASS". You can't tell me that a recommendation to have them install one of 'their' routers for $250 is going to some how FIX the problem. All I'm seeing at that point is a lame ass attempt to gouge me as if I were too stupid to realize what's really going on.

Seriously, if it was the DAMN router it would drop off ALL DAY LONG, not just at night. Unlike their crap equipment that runs through our neighborhood, the router is inside in a controlled environment that doesn't GET COLDER AT NIGHTS.

This is week five of this utter stupidity and even if other companies can't come close to offering the same service, I'm about ready to switch just so I won't have to hear any more of their BS.

How the hell it went from checking literally everything from the pole through our house (new modem, new line to modem, new line to the house, checking everything over INCLUDING THE ROUTER) for them to realize it was a problem on their end... and then now it's back to it must be us...? Honestly... WTF?

I can't even begin to express how frustrated I am right now. At least not without using language and other forms of expressions that really don't belong here. That and:

One thing I've learned over the years is that no matter what they tell you, even if you do swear like a pirate or whatever, it doesn't get rid of the stress, it just makes you even more angry. Which is why I tend to avoid it. I don't like being mad. =_=
