Last few days have had what I like to call 'borking' events. Started off with Allamorph linking me to some funny stuff from the ICHC site. Unfortunately one of them was just O_O I kid you not. And no I won't explain it or point you to it. I cannot unsee and you don't need to be in that position too.
Then last night I log in to AIM and it tells me I have 0 buddies. ._.
AIM ATE MY BUDDY LIST!
It wouldn't let me add anyone back or add people who messaged me either. So I had to find the newest version and install it. Which was odd since my version wasn't that old.
However it gets even better! I played some game with someone via Skype and apparently that little so-called free game Skype offered had Ad-spy-ware crap in it. ._. So that tried to freeze my computer and not let me install stuff and so forth. After all it was too busy sending information about my online activities to some place in China.
I had to delete it, burn it with fire and then restart my computer before I could get the new AIM up and running. Fortunately that gave me my buddy list back and an annoying little graphic lag glitch I'd been getting was gone too. Most likely caused by that stupid hidden program.
So yeah, thanks for nothing Skype, see if I ever trust you for ANY type of game you can play with other users. In fact other than staff meetings I think I'm going to avoid that pain in the butt program just for that.
