Just a few highlights from the past week so this will be short. Let's see, finally got around to trying sushi (Adam keeps telling me I need to so I finally did) so I've had it twice now. My first reaction is to gag at the thought of raw fish, but the spicy tuna with avocado that I had was actually very tasty. I chose the avocado since I like it a lot, that's one thing I really miss about living in southern California.
Avocado's that get ripe enough to fall off the tree are just heavenly. The place I lived at had a huge avocado tree in the back. Ones bought at the store don't even come close to how good those were. Makes me wish Utah's winters weren't so cold that they kill off trees like that. Plus I miss having the ocean as my view when I walked out the front door.
Anyway, another point... I've been having fun checking out new anime shows. I've been watching Nodame Cantabile, which is based on a music student who wishes to be a conductor someday. The show about beats you to death with the music symbolism, but the main character and others are just so much fun you don't care. Plus, Sugar Plum Fairy Music used for stalking moments = pure win. =3
The other shows I've gotten into in the last week are Angelique and the spin off Neo Angelique. A show that is based off of a dating sims game. It's just loaded with lots of gorgeous characters. >_> And yes I'm referring to the guys. I think I just died with this one from Neo Angelique: Hyuga.
