Well, now I'm on holiday in Mamaia (Romanian seaside resort) and, fortunately, enjoying sweet, sweet Internet access. Only downside is that I can't really make graphics since the color settings are very different from my monitor and I don't want them to look wonky :P That being said, I did manage to finish a vector for Shadows and posted it yesterday; I hope the colors look OK, I'm on a different computer after all and all the hues are more orange than on my monitor :P If need be, I'll fix it in a few days' time~
The nights are quite active here, since it's wedding season. Hardly one night goes by without fireworks and the likes, and it's difficult to sleep because they all shoot them at midnight :P A few nights ago I got to see some from the balcony (the hotel we're staying at is a bit far from the town center and restaurants), but I have to say their music choices were odd: Vangelis and music from The Godfather? Really? XD Don't get me wrong, Conquest of Paradise is epic, especially with fireworks, but it's not very...wedding-y >_> Anyway, the batteries on my camera are fried and I can't even take one picture unless they're fully charged without the camera shutting itself off. I did manage to get one shot, though, the fireworks were gorgeous (these are screencaps from a 6-second clip I managed to film before the damn thing shut itself off).
Aside from that, there's not much happening, really. Just going to the beach and lazing around :P I've done a bit of swimming as well, but now I'm down with a cold and can't swim anymore >_< I've also been taking the pills I normally take but they're useless, so all I can do is wait it out, I guess. One good thing about this "exile" is that I don't have TS3 anymore and can actually get some projects done XD I've worked more on my ~*secret*~ project (which I'm hoping to finish this summer autumn) and on my Badou wall. I'll take advantage of the sea and take some photos for reference, if my camera will allow it >_< Here are some I have managed to take:
